This smoothie recipe was inspired by Terry Wahls in the Wahl’s Protocol. There are several of her smoothie recipes that we like. She is always about variety. Like all smoothie recipes, we use a plant-based protein powder that has MCT oil. If you don’t have that then just add a TBSP of MCT oil to help get some good oils into your diet from the beginning of your day.
2 cups cubed watermelon
1/2 cup fresh mint
1 heaping TBSP any soaked nut or seed
1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
1 scoop protein powder with MCT oil or 1 TBSP MCT oil
Put all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
