I’ve been making guacamole so long I have no idea where I first saw this recipe. It’s the result of years of trial and error, and the funny thing is it rarely tastes the same as I don’t measure anything. We use this recipe in a lot of different recipes. Plus we enjoy it with our favorite chips on occasion. We like the grain-free cassava tortilla chips from Siete‘.
Ingredients
3 large organic ripe avocados, peeled and mashed
1/4 red onion, diced (you may want to start with less and see how much you like)
3 large organic limes, juiced
3 TBSP chopped organic cilantro
1 small organic tomato diced (optional – my hubby doesn’t like them in his guacamole)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Taste and adjust ingredients accordingly.
