This smoothie was inspired by Terry Wahls. I’ve incorporated many of her smoothies into our eating plan. I’ve made a few changes that work for us and so can you. I like to add protein powder with MCT in it. If you don’t have that, then add some MCT oil to help get your healthy fat in every day.
1 cup mango
1/2 cup sliced or chopped beets (use raw or cooked)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 14 oz can full-fat coconut milk
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 orange, juiced
Twist of black pepper
Put all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
